1. Where did you grow up?

Out west – Titirangi/Green Bay.

2. What school did you go to?

St Mary’s College, Ponsonby.

3.What super power would you most like to have and why?

The ability to buy the perfect birthday presents.

4. What brought you to Logos?

I found Logos online in December 2018. I looked over the website and knew straight away I wanted to be involved.

5. What was the best advice you received as a young person?

I remember one of my Dad’s friends once telling me to “always participate”. He said that even if I felt awkward, that if I tried, at least I’d feel like I’d given it a go. This advice has helped me in endless new and uncomfortable situations.

6.What advice would you give to your younger self?

“Be active. Active within the community, do lots of activities/movement, and actively trying out new things.”

7. What do you do to make sure you are being your best self?

I have my priorities well defined. I prioritise my sleep, time to connect with good people, and space to listen to music and exercise every day. I know that without properly looking after my body, mind and important relationships, I start to feel cluttered and stressed. Balance creates balance – putting in the time for me lets me be more present, focused, and take more enjoyment from my mahi and my friendships.
