Tim Ale – Youth Worker

1. Where did you grow up?

I was born and bred in a beautiful place called Wairarapa, in a town called Masterton – a home of diverse people of many different cultures and talents.

2. What school did you go to?

I am a proud old boy of Chanel College, Masterton.

3.What super power would you most like to have and why?

Super strength because I would be able to lift everything and also be able to have the strength to help other people. Otherwise, I would like the ability to sit next to God and see all things from above so I could look at where things are going wrong, especially in our community and do my best to help it.

4. What brought you to Logos?

The sense of community and how much everyone accepts people for who they are. It has been such an awesome opportunity for me to explore my youth work journey and enable my personal growth.

5. What was the best advice you received as a young person?

The advice that I forever hold on to is that: “I can do it”.

6.What advice would you give to your younger self?

“Don’t define yourself from the past, define yourself in the present and the future will be defined by who you truly are”.

7. What do you do to make sure you are being your best self?

I am my best self when I chill out and play the guitar. It gives me a sense of understanding and confidence.
