If you need help, then don’t bottle it up, find someone to talk to.
Who you talk to may depend on what you’re worried about, but it’s important that it’s someone you can trust.
Pick the right adult who can help you. It might be someone in your family, or at your church or youth group.
If you’re worried about your health, talk to your school nurse or a doctor. If you’re worried about study or having trouble at school, talk to a friendly teacher or your school counsellor.
If you’re not sure who to talk to, or are embarrassed to speak to someone face to face, you can always get in touch with Youthline 24/7 who have kind and sympathetic people ready to listen to you and help. Phone 0800 376 633 or free text to 234 and visit their website to find out more about how they can help.
