Logos loves to celebrate milestones. Graduation after several years of study and doing practical work is a significant milestone in life. Team members, Connectors and friends offered thanksgiving and prayed blessings for Jess and Roimata (pictured) at a gathering on Saturday 4th June. Commitments and a rugby injury prevented other graduates from attending; everyone included them in the blessing prayer in their absence! Roimata’s arrival created quite a stir. After completing her studies she had visited family in Rarotonga and unexpectedly was given a job offer in her chosen field. Because of that many at Logos did not think she would be in town for this occasion. Jess is looking forward to beginning work after an overseas holiday. Their association goes back to year 7 at school, Logos mentoring and Logos activities that year and right through school. Both became Connectors on leaving school. Congratulations to Jess, Roimata and all our 2016 graduates – good on you for putting in the hard yards! And your challenge for the future? – wherever your chosen career takes you remember your primary calling.
