1. Where did you grow up?

I was born, raised and grew up in Tonga and moved here when I was 15 years old.

2. What school did you go to?

I went to Tonga High School in Tonga, then moved here and attended Marist College.

3.What super power would you most like to have and why?

The ability to fly. Flying would be awesome, and it gives me a sense of freedom, knowing that I would be able to remove myself when life gets chaotic. However, not to escape, but to allow myself to retreat, rethink, refocus and reinvigorate.

4. What brought you to Logos?

My curiosity. I wanted to see what Logos was like and I’ve met so many people who have been a part of Logos. I told myself why not give it a chance, and by far it has been the best decision I’ve ever made.

5. What was the best advice you received as a young person?

This would be from my Dad, he would say in Tongan – ‘Fakamanatua keke ofi ma’upe kihe fale ‘o e ‘Eiki, ka ke ma’u ha mo’ui fiefia ‘i he mamani koe ni’ – ‘Remember to always dwell in the house of the Lord, and you will live a prosperous life’.

6.What advice would you give to your younger self?

“Your path has already been laid out for you by He, who is greater. Trust the process, never settle and when in doubt, have faith.”

7. What do you do to make sure you are being your best self?

Prayer. Prayer allows me to enter a calm and meditative state, where nothing else exists but God and I. It allows me to reflect on myself, the good and the bad. It gives me time to realise what needs strengthening and what I need to reduce in my life. Prayer helps heal my internal battles that have a negative effect on my physical well being.
