School

The Logos Project has a real passion for the education and formation of young people.
We have been working in a number of Secondary Schools since our beginning in 2000, delivering a range of programmes encompassing both 'youth ministry' and 'youth development' principles.  We seek to work with each school and the students to ensure that our programmes are appropriate to their particular Charism, strenghts, gifts and needs.

Our programmes are open to all without discrimination - we seek to include and respond to the differing needs of young people in Aotearoa New Zealand.  Our programmes are primarily based on the theoretical framework of Te Whare Tapa Wha –  addressing our physical, familial/relational, mental and spiritual needs; in order to reach our fullest potential as human beings.   As part of this we also model and teach that this potential is achieved when each person contributes their strengths and skills in the service of their wider community.

So far in 2010 We have delivered a range of programmes in Hato Petera, Liston College, Marist College, Marcellin College, St Peter's College and St Dominic's College.  We offer a huge range of programmes including retreats, leadership formation, Special Character, class workshops and Sacramental programmes.

A sample of programmes we deliver are outlined in the pdf document below.  If you would like to meet with Nat Hornyak to discuss how The Logos Project might be able to contribute programmes specific to your school, please contact her on: (09) 307 2712 or nat.hornyak@logos.org.nz
